With over fifteen years of creating and reinventing the eating experiences for friends and family, Culinary Curator, Jessica Laguerre. Decided to food could no longer be in the back burner and has responded to the call of hungry bellies and people wanting something more from the one activity almost every person will partake in every day eating.

Opening her first cafe and Bakeshop, The Royal Sweet Shoppe, in the winter of 2017. The Royal Sweet Shoppe is a social entrepreneurship venture geared to teach young girls entrepreneurship, Jess has been cooking ever since with even for dedication than ever before.

Discovering that people often stayed hours past event end times and Shoppe closing cleaning hours, Jess decided to shift from behind the screens and scenes to trade in spreadsheets and back office work for an apron and open venue space. Thus Cookbook Dinners came about, a monthly gathering for chefs, friends, foodies and photography focus to not only capture food for books but people and end expression for community.
